Purple Mash System Requirements
Desktop:
- Screen resolution of 1024 x 768 or above
- Windows 7 or above; Mac OS-X 10.10 (Yosemite) or above
- RAM - 4GB or above
Tablets:
For best performance, please use the Purple Mash Browser app.
We recommend using the latest version of iOS or Android.
- Minimum compatible iOS version: 12.5.7 *from July 1st 2025 - the minimum compatible iOS version will be 13.1*
- We do not support Smoothwall browser.
- We do not support Google Chrome Browser on iPads
- On Android tablets we recommend using Google Chrome
Web Browser:
We would recommend using the latest version of any of these browsers:
- Google Chrome (best performance on Android and desktops)
- Safari
- Microsoft Edge
Bandwidth:
- We recommend allowing secure web access and a bandwidth of 1-2 Mbit/s per concurrent user.
Whitelisting:
We recommend making sure all Purple Mash domains are whitelisted. Full details can be found here.
