End of Year (EOY) Wizard – Error Caused by Missing Year Groups
If you are shown an error when completing the End of Year (EOY) Wizard, it is likely because some pupils do not have a Year Group assigned to their account. The wizard cannot complete successfully unless all pupils have a year group assigned
Resolution
1. Check for Missing Year Groups
- Go to the Pupils tab.
- Click the purple three-dot button on the right-hand side.
- Select Export/Print Logins, then choose Excel List from the Export Type drop-down.
- Click OK to download a CSV file containing all pupil data.
2. Add Missing Year Groups
- Open the CSV file and check the Year Group column for blank entries.
- For any blanks, enter one of the accepted year group names below:
- Nursery
- Reception
- Year followed by a number (e.g. Year 1, Year 2, etc.)
- Save the file.
3. Re-import the pupil data
- Follow this guide to re-import your updated CSV: How to use the Import Wizard to add and edit pupils
- Once the import is complete, run the End of Year Wizard again. The wizard should now complete without the error.
