How can I archive pupil work?

Updated by Matt Besant

In Purple Mash it is possible to archive work from class folders. This is especially useful at the end of each academic year before pupils move to a new class, to ensure that their work stays with them.

Please follow the instructions below to archive a class folder:

  1. Click on the Work icon.
  2. Click the drop down next to Class, then click once on the class you'd like to Archive.
  1. Click on the meatball menu (three dot icon circled above) and then click Archive.
You will be presented with two options: 1. The work will be moved to an archive folder within each pupil's 'My Work' folder. Additionally, an Archives folder will be created for the class, and a copy of the work will be moved to a subfolder within. or 2. The work will be moved to an archive folder within each pupil's 'My Work' folder. If you'd like to create an archive folder in the current class folder select option 1, if you'd just like to send work to pupil folders then choose option 2.
  1. Select the desired method and then click Archive.
